The Washington Bridge (also known as the Moses Wheeler Bridge) is located on the Boston Post Road (Route 1) on the border between Stratford and Milford Connecticut. "The grand new Washington Bridge was dedicated on Armistice Day in 1921." In Pursuit of Paradise, 1989, by Lewis Knapp.
