House Numbers
Make sure your house is numbered clearly!
Critical time is lost in an emergency when your house does not have a visible number on the mailbox or the house. The number needs to be in plain sight without any obstructions. The Fire Department, Police Department or EMS wants to find your house quickly.
Help them be more visible
House numbers should be at least 4 inches tall and reflective! Make sure plants, foliage or any other obstruction does not block your house number. You should also affix house numbers to your mailbox or next to your front door. House numbers on your mailbox should be displayed on both sides.
