The Town Garage Division of the Public Works Department repairs and maintains all town vehicles and equipment. The fleet has more than 300 vehicles that includes fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, dump trucks, pickup trucks, backhoes and many other vehicles used in the daily operation of the Town.

They also repair more than 200 pieces of smaller equipment, which includes mowers, plows, sand spreaders and much more.

The primary responsibility of this Division is to perform preventive maintenance on all vehicles and equipment to ensure that they are operating safely and efficiently and to avoid costly breakdowns.

The Town Garage also performs metal fabrication and welding for all Town facilities and schools.
