Transfer Station Information

Hours of Operation and Fees
Monday - Friday: 7:00 A.M. TO 3:00 P.M.
Saturdays: 8:00 A.M. TO 12:00 Noon

The Transfer Station on Watson Boulevard will be closed on ALL holidays except for the day after Thanksgiving

Every month you are allowed to take 250 lbs. of refuse to the Transfer Station for free.

A charge of $95.00 per ton($9.50 for every Two hundred pounds)will be applied to anything over this amount

PROOF OF STRATFORD RESIDENCY IS REQUIRED

• Acceptable forms of proof include:
• Valid CT drivers license
• Automobile registration
• Park sticker

The Town of Stratford will only accept waste that is generated within the Town of Stratford

REFUSE, RECYCLING (INCLUDING CARDBOARD), LARGE ITEMS (INCLUDING APPLIANCES), METAL, BRUSH, YARD WASTE, AND USED MOTOR OIL MAY BE DELIVERED TO THE TRANSFER STATION.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED INCLUDE:
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS, DEMOLITION MATERIALS, TREE BRANCHES OVER 12" IN DIAMETER, AND PAINT.
