Short Beach Golf Course is open seasonally and tee times may be booked 6 days in advance by calling the pro shop or using the online registration system. Golf Carts and Pull Carts are available. Proper golf attire is preferred.

The professional staff at Short Beach Golf Course can assist in all your golf events or golf league planning. Nikki’s Beach House Restaurant is available for any food and beverage needs.

History to Present Day

The Short Beach Golf Course is a hidden jewel in the Town of Stratford. Short Beach opened in 1988 and this links-style challenging par 3 offers spectacular views of the Long Island Sound. Short Beach is open year-round (weather permitting) and tee times can be booked 6 days in advance by calling the Golf Shop. Golf Carts, Pull Carts and Rental Clubs are available and Short Beach is a "Soft Spike" only facility. Whether you want to play 9 hole, 18 holes, get fit for a new set of clubs or take a golf lesson to sharpen your skills, come down to Short Beach and join us for a great day of golf on our beautiful golf course.

Course Style 

Short Beach Golf Course is one of the few "links" style courses in Connecticut. A Links style course is defined as a course built along the seaside and laid out naturally. The rough features sea grasses and the bunkers are small, numerous and deep (to keep the breezes from blowing the sand). The fairways play firm and fast and the course routes out and back to the clubhouse.
