The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 113 in Stratford. This project is scheduled to occur on Sunday, April 27 and be completed on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

The project DOT01730543CN consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.51-mile segment of Route 113 in Stratford from Long Beach Road/Garfield Avenue to Sniffens Lane. This project is scheduled to begin milling by A & J Construction on Sunday, April 27 to Friday, May 9, 2025. The resurfacing segment of this project by Tilcon is anticipated to begin on Sunday, May 11 to Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

This project is included in CTDOT’s 2025 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures of Route 113 from Long Beach Road/Garfield Avenue to Sniffens Lane in Stratford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday night to Friday morning.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
