Veterans Day Parade

The Town of Stratford is pleased to announce the third annual Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 8th.

The parade will step off at 11am from Stratford Town Hall and will travel south on Main Street to Academy Hill.

“This parade is our town’s heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country with courage and devotion,” said Mayor Laura R. Hoydick. “Our freedom endures because of their sacrifice, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting our veterans and their families. It is a true honor to once again host this proud Stratford tradition.”

Veterans from Stratford and neighboring communities, and community and civic organizations will participate in the parade. The public is encouraged to come out and line the parade route in a show of honor and support. This parade is sponsored by Burns Construction, Celebrate Stratford, Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament, and Riverview Bistro.

Please note: Main Street will be closed from Barnum Avenue to Academy Hill from 10:30am to 12:30pm on November 8th.
