🚨 WATER MAIN BREAK – HUNTINGTON ROAD, STRATFORD 🚨

Town officials are actively responding to a major water main break involving a 30-inch water transmission main in the north end of Stratford. The incident is on Huntington Rd north of the Merritt Parkway.

Emergency crews from the Aquarion Water Department, Public Works, Police, Fire Department, and Emergency Management are on scene.

Residents should expect:

• Possible low water pressure

• Possible temporary water service interruptions

• Road closures and traffic delays in the affected area

• Emergency repair work continuing throughout the day

Please:

✅ Conserve water whenever possible while repairs are underway.

✅ If you experience cloudy water after service is restored, allow cold water to run for several minutes until it clears.
